I was so tired, so I took a seat on one of the chairs provided for the elderly at the entrance of Pick ‘n Pay. I wondered how I would distribute the books I had, especially the three volumes of Srimad Bhagavatam which I had in my book bag.
Not much time passed until I heard ‘Haribol Prabhu!’ coming from an African man whom I had never met before. He sat down next to me and introduced himself as Mlaba. An outpour of deep questions came from him, culminating in a desire to know about the spiritual world. He wanted to know if it is actually possible to attain perfection in this life, and if that perfection is a state of impersonal realization, known as brahman, or something else?
I answered as best I could showing him the Srimad Bhagavatam. He was impressed, gave a donation and took them.
I was astounded…Krsna really arranged that one! There I was, with the Srimad Bhagavatam, and there came Mlaba with a deep desire to have his questions answered. Krsna is in the core of the heart of every living entity, and if one sincerely wants to know more about Him, then He will reveal Himself.
Sankitana Yajna ki Jai!
